Hi, I’m Dan Hewes and I write and run phpcoder.org as a place to throw up my php code, unfinished scripts, conversion scripts and wax lyrical about my world and PHP. Php Coder is a new site started in September of 2008 after years of running various PHP sites and developing in the language. Most notably as the author of ZoGo Shop, the e107 ecommerce application, which I recently sold the rights to, so that others could continue to improve the product.
I work for a fairly large software company in the day, as a technical support manager.
By weekend, I don’t touch the computer, and instead spend my time outdoors with my dogs and fiance.

Currently working as a Technical Support Manager, I have some 5+ years experience as a PHP coder, and am here to share my experiences and ideas with you all. Whilst I no longer code full time, I often write snippets to help with day to day work, that I am sure you will find useful.
